Senior Systems Engineer (IaaS, Linux)
FlashGrid Inc is looking for an expert in Linux, network, and storage technologies to join our team in a Senior Systems Engineer role. In this role you will be the key technical expert ensuring success of customer projects that involve deploying mission-critical databases in AWS, Azure, and Google clouds using FlashGrid and Oracle RAC technologies for HA clustering.
Primary responsibilities:
- Researching new features from Oracle/AWS/Azure/GCP and testing new reference architectures
- Working closely with development and QA teams to enhance and validate new product features
- Investigating and troubleshooting technical issues
- Creating knowledge base content
Additional responsibilities may include:
- Advising and helping FlashGrid customers and partners with deploying database clusters in IaaS clouds
- Providing technical training to customers and partners
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of Linux system administration
- Understanding of network and storage technologies at advanced level
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP IaaS
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Solid written and verbal English
