Job Description

Lead Veterinary Technician

Looking for the next step in your veterinary career? We are seeking an experienced veterinary technician to join our team as a lead!

About Us

Franklin Lakes Animal Hospital has been a pillar of the community for 30 years. As a busy 9-doctor practice, we see dogs, cats, exotics, and wildlife. We boast a tenured staff, with many team members having been with us for 20+ years.

About You

As Lead Technician, you would function with a great deal of autonomy and responsibility, so there are a few things that are a must:

• The more you know – No body knows it all, but your patient care knowledge and skills should be solid. You should be willing, enthusiastic even, to learn and try new things and to share what you do know with others
• Be Kind – Treat your team, your patients and your clients with the respect, compassion and consideration you would like to be shown if you were in their shoes…or paws
• No I in TEAM – Cheesy but true, the ability to work both independently and with a team, while maintaining a positive attitude, is critical. Being willing to help where you are needed keeps the team going and the care flowing
• Never work a day in your life – What’s that saying? If you do something you love, you’ll never work a day in your life! Be passionate, have fun, LOVE what you do!
