About the Role

We're looking for a Learning & Development Specialist to support L&D's company-wide operations and lead the construction of our AI First journey — rethinking how L&D works and how it shows up for every Nubanker, through data-informed decisions and products connected to real Nubanker needs.

This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution: part of the time is spent shaping what the next chapter of L&D looks like in an AI First world, and part of the time is spent making sure programs, data, and budget run with quality and speed today.

You’ll be Responsible for

• L&D Operations at Scale:

• Develop and run L&D programs designed to reach all Nubankers, ensuring consistent quality and execution across audiences and geographies.

• Partner with L&D program owners to keep initiatives on track, resolving bottlenecks and unblocking delivery.

• AI First Journey:

• Help build and evolve L&D's AI First journey, rethinking how the team operates and how it delivers value to Nubankers.

• Explore, test, and bring in AI tools and workflows that make learning more personalized, scalable, and connected to Nubankers' real needs.

• Translate this new way of working into concrete products and solutions, not just concepts — working closely with stakeholders to validate what actually gets used.

• Data, Metrics & Budget:

• Own and evolve L&D's key metrics, building the reporting and dashboards needed for the team and leadership to make informed decisions.

• Support budget tracking and planning for L&D initiatives, ensuring spend is aligned with priorities and impact.

• Turn data into actionable insight — identifying trends, gaps, and opportunities to improve programs and prioritize investment.

• Stakeholder & Project Management:

• Manage multiple workstreams in parallel, balancing strategic projects with day-to-day execution demands.

• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across People and the business, aligning expectations and bringing them along through change.

• Drive projects end-to-end with clear ownership, timelines, and follow-through.

What We're Looking For Someone Who Has

• Mid-to-senior background in Learning & Development, ideally at fintechs or technology companies.

• Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing and aligning multiple stakeholders without formal authority.

• Solid project management skills — able to plan, prioritize, and deliver multiple initiatives with quality and agility.

• Genuine AI literacy and curiosity: comfortable using AI tools today and motivated to keep learning and experimenting with new ones.

• A balance of strategic thinking and execution — as comfortable shaping a new vision as making sure the details get done.

• Comfort working with data: able to build and interpret metrics and dashboards to support decision-making.

• Fluent in English.

• Knowledge of Spanish is desirable.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to bring people along a new way of working.

Hybrid 2-3 times/week: Our hybrid work model brings us to the office at least twice a week, on strategic days designed to maximize team connection and collaboration.
