Assistant Manager – Miami Grill (West Park)

Location: 1955 South State Road 7, West Park FL 33023

Job Type: Full-Time

Reports To: General Manager

Pay Range: To be discussed (based on experience)

About the Role

Miami Grill is looking for an energetic, detail-oriented Assistant Manager to join our leadership team at Store #28 in West Park ! In this role, you will work hand-in-hand with the General Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and lead a high-performing team.

Because we are open 24 hours and operate on holidays to serve our community when they need us most, we are looking for dedicated leaders who thrive in a fast-paced environment and love serving fresh, made-to-order cheesesteaks, wings, and gyros at any hour!

Key Responsibilities

  • Shift Leadership: Supervise front-of-house and kitchen staff during assigned daytime, late-night, overnight and holiday shifts to maintain fast, accurate service and keep ticket times low.
  • Team Development: Assist with onboarding, training, scheduling, and coaching crew members to build a supportive, high-energy environment across all operational hours.
  • Guest Experience: Resolve guest inquiries promptly and ensure top-notch service for drive-thru, dine-in, and late-night delivery orders.
  • Financial & Inventory Oversight: Assist with till reconciliations, daily register counts, safe management, waste tracking, labor control, and food inventory.
  • Food Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict health department guidelines, ServSafe standards, and cleanliness across the dining room, drive-thru, and kitchen.
  • Store Duties: Manage store procedures, shift handoffs, register closeouts, and building security.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: 1–2 years of supervisory or assistant management experience in quick-service restaurants (QSR) or fast-casual dining.
  • Schedule Flexibility (Crucial): Must be fully available to work late-night shifts,overnight, weekends, and holiday schedules.
  • Certifications: Active ServSafe Food Manager Certification (or willingness to complete within 30 days of hire).
  • Skills: Strong communication, team building, basic POS navigation, and shift-scheduling skills.
  • Physical Demands: Comfort standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 lbs in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
