Camping, hunting, fishing, hiking, boating and new sports are a way of life in Washington State.Working for the Department of Defense comes with an abundance of benefits and perks to include competitive compensation packages, paid-time off, medical benefits, student loan repayments, and retirement package with Thrift Savings Plan to include matching employer contributions.DutiesPatient Assessment & Monitoring: Observe, assess, and continuously monitor pediatric and adolescent patients to ensure timely clinical interventions.Age-Specific Care: Deliver professional nursing care tailored specifically to the unique physical, developmental, and age-specific needs of children.Equipment Operation: Safely operate specialized pediatric medical, surgical, and resuscitation equipment in a clinical outpatient setting.Family Education & Support: Educate parents and family members on home care strategies, illness management, and developmental health to support optimal pediatric outcomes.Phone Consultations: Conduct follow-up telephone triage and consultations with parents to provide clinical guidance and supportive education.SOP & Quality Initiatives: Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to implement initiatives that enhance the quality, safety, and efficiency of pediatric care services.Clinical Mentorship: Serve as a preceptor and clinical resource, providing technical guidance and onboarding support to newly assigned nursing staff and traineesQualificationsU.S. Citizens Education: A Diploma, Associate, Bachelor's, or Graduate degree in Professional Nursing from an accredited program.Licensure: An active, current, full, and unrestricted U.S. Registered Nurse (RN) license, having passed the NCLEX.
