Responsibilities

• Perform CT and radiographic procedures with independent judgment, prioritizing patient care and diagnostic quality; CT is the primary modality for this posting, with X-ray experience also required.
• Accurately operate and troubleshoot CT, CR/DR, PACS, and RIS/HIS systems; ensure proper image acquisition, processing, and documentation.
• Apply infection control practices, protect patient confidentiality, and follow departmental and hospital policies and procedures.
• Maintain clear communication in written, verbal, and Tiger Text formats; collaborate with radiology staff and provide patient care support as needed.
• Administer IV injections and contrast as indicated by protocol; monitor for adverse reactions and respond according to protocol.
• Assist with supervision or instruction within the department as assigned by leadership and participate in mandatory annual training and competency maintenance.

Requirements

• Massachusetts Radiology License required
• ARRT CT and ARRT Radiography (R) certifications required
• American Heart Association BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years CT/X-ray experience required
• Travel experience: previous staffing agency experience required (6+ months); first-time agency travelers will not be considered
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
• Traveler must have own vehicle
• Ability to work in a hospital setting and adapt to a fast-paced environment
