As a Security Officer - Truck Elevator Control Booth , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas for security-related concerns, assist with access control practices, and report maintenance, life system, and/or property issues through established channels.
• Support daily operations at the location by observing activity, providing directions and assistance, and completing required reports related to incidents, patrols, and/or policy-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
