Picture your day: a new set of mobile restroom and sanitation trailers arrive in the yard, and you’re the one making sure they’re spotless, safe, and ready for the next job site. You’ll prep units for deployment, fine-tune plumbing and electrical systems, and support drivers and field techs so customers get reliable restrooms exactly when they need them.

What a Typical Day Looks Like

• Ready units for delivery: stock, clean, test, and confirm trailers meet our standards before heading out.
• Handle placement and setup: assist with positioning, leveling, tie-ins, and removals at customer locations.
• Inspect thoroughly: document condition before and after rentals; flag issues and complete fixes.
• Repair core systems: address basic plumbing (toilets, sinks, faucets, drains, water lines, pumps, valves) and electrical items (switches, outlets, fixtures, bulbs, breakers).
• Restore interiors and hardware: troubleshoot and repair doors, locks, flooring, walls, trim, and related components.
• Stay ahead with preventative maintenance: keep units consistently rental-ready.
• Function-check everything: verify plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and related systems operate properly prior to deployment.
• Detail and prep: clean and present trailers to EquipmentShare quality benchmarks.
• Keep the yard sharp: maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
• Communicate needs: track repairs and escalate parts or equipment requirements to leadership.
• Team up: help drivers and field technicians with loading, unloading, setup, and breakdown.
• Work safe: follow all EquipmentShare safety policies and procedures every step of the way.

Skills and QualificationsRequired

• Mechanical aptitude with a strong desire to learn.
• Foundational knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, maintenance, or general construction.
• Comfort using common hand and power tools.
• Ability to diagnose issues and complete basic repairs independently.
• Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in all weather.
• Detail-oriented mindset and pride in keeping units rental-ready.
• Dependable, safety-focused, and collaborative team player.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Experience with restroom/sanitation trailers
• RV or camper service
• Mobile office or modular building upkeep
• Plumbing
• Electrical maintenance
• Facilities/property maintenance
• Construction or general contracting
• Equipment rental operations
• Trailer repair and maintenance

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior maintenance, construction, mechanical, facilities, or equipment repair experience preferred.
• Industry-specific sanitation or restroom trailer experience not required—we’ll train individuals with strong mechanical aptitude and transferable skills.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and use tools throughout the shift.
• Work outside in a variety of weather conditions.
• Safely carry out the physical tasks involved in preparing, repairing, and deploying mobile restroom trailers.
