Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Job

We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you'll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
• One year experience as an RRT
• BLS certification

Assignment Details

• Night shift
• Experience with patient assessment for breathing disorders, blood and sputum analysis, and lung capacity testing.
• Experience administering oxygen, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy.
• Experience managing, setting up, and operating mechanical ventilators.
• Experience providing emergency respiratory care, including artificial respiration, bronchopulmonary hygiene, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
• Experience with documentation, physician collaboration on treatment plans, discharge planning, and patient education on disease management and home equipment.
