Phlebotomist - Float- The Villages
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for a patient service center in The Villages, Florida. The role involves performing blood collections, specimen handling, patient registration, and customer service in a Monday-Friday 6am-3pm schedule with rotating weekends.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections across all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and other analyses
- Process patient information entry, billing, and payment collection
- Prepare specimens for testing and maintain specimen information logs
- Travel to additional sites as needed for specimen collection work
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
- Three months or more phlebotomy experience (or current certification)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- At least 21 years old
- Ability to pass color blindness screening test
