User Experience Researcher

We are looking for a UX Researcher (quantitative) to join our team! We are looking for someone proficient in R and Python and someone coming from and AI background or a hardware background. ABOUT THIS FEATURED OPPORTUNITY Our client seeks to explore, innovate, and design novel interfaces and hardware subsystems for the next generation of computing — the kind of work shaping how people will wear and interact with computing devices in everyday life. This research and experience team supports research across next-generation wearable hardware, contextual AI assistants, and sensing technology that understands the world around the wearer. We are looking for a quantitative UX Researcher to lead measurement and analysis across a portfolio of studies on cutting-edge, pre-release technology. In this role, you will work with a highly interdisciplinary group of researchers, product managers, and engineers, and will have access to unreleased hardware, resources, and testing facilities. THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU Design and execute quantitative studies, including experimental, quasi-experimental, survey, and longitudinal designs Own analysis end to end: hypothesis specification, power analysis, data cleaning, modeling, and interpretation Build and validate measurement instruments, including behaviorally anchored scales and scorecards intended for adoption by other teams — ownership of a recurring scorecard reviewed by leadership month over month is a core, near-term deliverable Analyze repeated-measures and longitudinal data using appropriate methods (mixed-effects models, growth curve analysis, time-series) Design measurement approaches that work as the research population moves outside the office/lab — capturing telemetry and survey data from people wearing the research device at home or in the field, potentially via in-app surveys or through the contextual AI chat interface itself Evaluate the contextual AI assistant experience specifically: mismatches between what the hardware senses and what the AI attends to, quality of voice/chat interaction, and how well the system understands the person, scene, and activity Partner with product managers and engineers to translate ambiguous product questions into measurable research questions Communicate findings to non-research audiences in a form that supports decisions, not just description Contribute to study protocol documentation and support human subjects research review processes Collaborate with qualitative researchers to integrate quantitative and qualitative evidence into a single point of view (light qual skill is a plus; the role is primarily quant) #J-18808-Ljbffr
