Managing Consultant - Corporate Finance - Turnaround & Restructuring

Turnaround & Restructuring Opportunity BRG Corporate Finance offers a dynamic role within its Turnaround & Restructuring practice, focusing on strategic, operational, and financial advice for private equity firms, management teams, and other stakeholders. Responsibilities Support day‑to‑day activities of the Turnaround & Restructuring client service teams on engagements. Manage junior team members across multiple tasks, including financial modeling and client presentations. Develop and oversee 13‑week cash flow models, three‑statement models, and pro‑forma scenario models. Collaborate with T&R experts, other industry specialists, and client contacts to achieve engagement objectives. Prepare reports, written analyses, presentations, and other client deliverables. Assist in the growth of the practice through marketing, client pitches, and product development. Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, quality, and integrity. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business, Accounting/Finance, Management, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field. Seven or more years of experience, preferably in consulting or professional services. Expertise in Excel financial modeling: construction and interpretation of three‑statement models, cash flow models, and scenario analyses. Ability to manage and analyze large volumes of financial and operational data. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; proficient in deriving insights and recommendations. Excellent project management and teamwork abilities. Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or GAAP accounting expertise are a plus. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Familiarity with financial research tools such as Capital IQ, Bloomberg, or similar platforms. Willingness to travel as needed.
