We are a leading automotive manufacturer looking for an Assistant IT Manager who thrives in the "Just-in-Time" environment. What You'll Do: · Drive Excellence: Monitor the Helpdesk like a pro. You'll ensure our SLAs are met and our internal "customers" (Production, Engineering, QA) are supported. · Stay Compliant: Lead internal audits and support the Sr. Manager during external audits. You'll be the master of countermeasures. · Manage the Lifecycle: Keep our software and maintenance subscriptions current—no expired licenses on your watch. · Hands-on Tech: Support our Active Directory environment, secure our network, and ensure our databases are talking to each other seamlessly. What You Bring: · The "Manufacturing Mindset": You understand that manufacturing doesn't stop. You are calm under pressure and have excellent communication skills to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders. · Technical Chops: You have a strong foundation in Active Directory, IT Security, Networking, and Database Interoperability. · Leadership: You know how to motivate a support team and keep them focused on the right priorities. · Mobility: You have a valid driver's license and are excited by the prospect of occasional travel—including international trips to our global partners. Required Qualifications * Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience. * Experience: 5+ years in IT administration; 2+ years in a lead/supervisory role. Automotive manufacturing experience highly preferred. * Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of Active Directory, Networking (VLANs, Firewalls), IT Security, and Database management. * Travel: Valid driver's license required.
