Cardiac Device Tech – $50/Hour | Contract Assignment | New York, NY Location: New York, NY Pay Rate: $50 per hour Assignment Length: 28-Week Contract Start Date: 07/06/2026 Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Device Tech for a 28-week contract assignment in New York, NY. This role will support cardiac electrophysiology and device management services, including pacemaker and ICD interrogation/programming, electrophysiology monitoring, and collaboration with cardiology and EP teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiac device technology, electrophysiology, cardiology, or MRI operations and be comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment. Key Responsibilities Perform pacemaker and ICD interrogation, programming, and troubleshooting Support electrophysiology studies and evaluations within an EP Lab setting Assist with electrophysiological monitoring and device-related patient care Maintain accurate EMR documentation and complete charge entry as needed Ensure proper operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrophysiology-related equipment and devices Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical teams to support patient care and procedural workflows Educate staff, patients, and families on electrophysiological monitoring and cardiac device management when appropriate Maintain compliance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and operational procedures Schedule Details Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM 28-week assignment Qualifications Required: High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 2 years of Cardiac Device Tech experience Minimum of 2 years of healthcare experience Experience with pacemaker and ICD interrogation/programming Strong computer literacy skills Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Preferred: Background in cardiac device technology, electrophysiology (EP), cardiology, or MRI operations Completion of an accredited program in cardiac electrophysiology technology or equivalent education/experience Experience in cardiology and/or electrophysiology settings Proficiency with EMR documentation and charge entry Experience educating staff, patients, and families on electrophysiological monitoring Experience working in an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, including electrophysiology studies and evaluations Familiarity with MRI environments and equipment operation/maintenance If you are an experienced Cardiac Device Tech looking for a rewarding contract opportunity in New York City, we encourage you to apply today!
