Assistant Property Manager

Responsibilities In your role at CubeSmart Self Storage, you will be required to manage and maintain your property, including skills in both customer service and property maintenance. Develop customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a WOW! or 5 Star service. Interact face to face with customers, provide excellent service, and build rapport. Meet monthly sales goals and metrics. Walk the property to perform lock checks and show units to customers. Rent self-storage spaces, sell store merchandise, manage the leasing process, accept payments using the Point-of-Sale System (POS), complete daily bank deposits, and make courtesy calls regarding late payments. Manage invoice reviews and approvals within the database; process invoices and manage reports and legal processes of auctions. Oversee the store’s expense budget while maintaining store supplies and retail inventory. Property Maintenance Physical requirements include daily walks of the property, cleaning the units and the property, opening and closing storage doors (up to 50 lbs). Maintain the facility (mopping, sweeping, changing light bulbs, cleaning units, and similar light activities). Keep a clean and safe storage facility to ensure condition meets company guidelines (clean restrooms, landscaping, parking, paving, fence, walls, doors). Experience in delivering high quality customer service to a diverse customer market. Basic computer skills. You must have the ability to work Saturdays. Valid driver’s license and insurance with access to reliable transportation used during the workday. While performing the duties of this job, you will be frequently required to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, climb or balance on a ladder. Some locations may require Sunday hours.
