Travel Registered Nurse NICU Job

Overview
Registered Nurse - NICU (Travel) in Everett, Washington. Travel assignment for a Level II NICU within a hospital setting. Start date 07/13/2026 for an ongoing duration measured in weeks. Shift is 3x12-hour Nights. Weekly pay ranges from $1,769 to $1,881. This assignment requires travel experience and offers orientation of 24 hours. You'll work in a Level II NICU environment with a patient population that includes prematurity, feeding immaturity, and related neonatal conditions. The Hiring Organization is Healthforce Healthcare LLC. This position does not include guaranteed hours; you may be called off for 1 x 12-hour shift every two weeks. All travel staff must be comfortable floating to a Family Maternity Center/Postpartum unit for babies only and must be willing to work 4 weekends per 4-week schedule, including up to 3 of 5 holidays as needed.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to neonates in a Level II NICU, including monitoring, vitals, and routine assessments
- Manage neonatal respiratory support and devices (including conventional ventilators, high-frequency oscillators/jet, bubble CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula)
- Conduct ROP exams and participate in neonatal procedures as assigned
- Administer medications, monitor responses, and document care in Epic
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team (ne neonatology, respiratory therapy, social services, nursing leadership) to optimize care plans
- Support families, reinforce feeding strategies, and assist with discharge planning

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Level III NICU experience; travel RN experience required (first-timers not accepted)
- Required certifications: BCLS (BLS) and NRP
- Epic charting experience
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and meet unit expectations for patient care
- Willingness to float to Family Maternity Center/Postpartum (neonatal babies only) and to commit to weekend requirements
- Must comply with the facility's policy on RTO submission and background checks as part of the submittal process
