As a Senior Design Operations professional within the Card team, you will be responsible for planning and managing the day to day workflow, processes and reporting that support our growing digital design project work across Design and Customer Experience (DCE). We are looking for a Senior Design Operations professional to join our Card team. In this role, you will be working with designers, product owners, engineers, content strategists, editors and researchers committed to designing customer-led products and services. This role requires an understanding of design processes including customer-centric design; familiarity with design systems and toolkits is helpful. Our team is at the heart of driving this transformation, focused on developing innovative offerings that put the customer at the center.Job responsibilitiesOversight and management of a product portfolio; includes project intake, assessment, resourcing, execution, tracking and team capacity managementPartner closely with Design Lead, Product Owners, Tech Leads, and Scrum Masters onDiscovery Execution and Delivery, as well as concept readiness and artifact quality.Consult with design teams to develop a clear plan including size, scope, sequence and next steps for design activitiesFacilitate cross-impacted project discussions with multiple Design teams and stakeholdersCollaborate closely with DCE, Product, Line-of-Business, Data and Analytics and Tech teams to understand the customer problem statement and desired outcomes to meet business objectives. Track projects to ensure milestones are being met and status is documented and updated regularly; produce reports as appropriate/requestedKey driver and champion of ongoing firm-wide and design team process improvementRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:A minimum of 5 years of project/program management experience with 3 years in digital design or product developmentUnderstanding of Product development lifecycle at scaleThorough understanding of Waterfall and Agile project methodologiesExperience or familiarity with tools including Atlassian / JIRA / Confluence / Monday.com / FigmaDemonstrated effectiveness developing plans, prioritizing activities and driving executionExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively present complex information clearly and appropriately handle sensitive informationStrong organizational skills with experience coordinating multiple work streams simultaneously, proactively and independentlyPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and SkillsExperience at design studio and/or large corporate environment Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence outcomesFlexibility/adaptability (ability to change direction based upon team and stakeholder consensus)Strong project management skillsPassionate about creating customer-centric designChase is a leading financial services firm, helping nearly half of America’s households and small businesses achieve their financial goals through a broad range of financial products.
