Job Description
Take your medical-surgical nursing experience on the road with a 13-week contract supporting a urology and nephrology unit in Springfield, Illinois. This day-shift assignment offers a steady 3x12-hour rhythm while caring for patients with renal and genitourinary conditions in an acute-care setting.
The ideal Registered Nurse has at least two years of medical-surgical experience, including telemetry, renal failure, pre- and post-hemodialysis management, cardiac monitoring, emergency response, IV therapy, wound care, respiratory support, and medication administration involving heparin. You will also use Cerner and may float within your scope to other medical-surgical units. BLS certification and an active Illinois RN license are required. First-time travelers with a solid RN foundation are welcome.
