Shift SupervisorReports to Operations Manager Plant Manager2nd Shift 4pm - Midnight M-F with some Saturdays as needed and OT during the weekJob purpose To facilitate acceptable shift productivity and effectiveness while promoting a safe and positive working environment for all shift employeesDuties and responsibilitiesDirect supervision of all shift employees and should have processing technician experience. Reference 24-01950Using the production scheduling software ProView Supervisor, be able to schedule operators to specific work centers as well as manipulate scheduled production run information and create production schedules as needed through ProView Scheduling.Complete shift employee performance evaluations monthlyPart file management / tool specific data management.Pro ScanSafe operation of typical material handling equipment such as a powered lift truck and pallet jack.Troubleshoot molding defect causes and remedy any issue using a systematic approach to process changes.Maintain clean, organized and safe work areasUnderstanding and implementation of company goals and objectivesUnderstanding of the quality expectations of the parts moldedReview production scheduleControls and monitors processesMaintain part files and approved processesPreventative tool maintenancePrep for the next shiftRecord downtime in QADMaintain tool PM log/lot folderLoad/unload tools from tool makers trucks (not shipping)Fill out supervisors notes each dayProcess monitoring log (twice per shift)Install/remove paperwork (at MC)Communicate with quality to ensure part qualityBasic robot operation5SMaintain the ISO9001-2015 – IATF 16949 pertinent to the production areaFIFOQualificationsHigh School graduateExcellent attendancePositive attitudePrior experience as an injection molding process techPrior experience in a leadership roleExcellent communication skillsExcellent organizational skillsBasic mathematics skillsSafe working practicesPowered industrial lift truck driving experienceComputer skillsApproved by: - DRMDate approved: - 5.18.2022Reviewed: - Julie Hart 5.18.2022
