Job Description\n Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Marion, Illinois.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 09/22/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n \n Job Title: Registered Nurse - Med Surg / Tele (Neuro MS/TELE)\n VMS Req ID / Source: DEIMCM-31344 / Staffency-StaffBot (Simplifi)\n Location: Deaconess Illinois Medical Center, Marion, Illinois (3333 W Deyoung St)\n Specialty: Med Surg / Tele / Healthcare - RN\n Compensation & Schedule Details\n \n Hours & Shift: 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week (12-hour Nights, 1900–0730)\n Contract Length: 13 weeks\n Target Start Date: September 28, 2026\n \n Key Facility Policies & Floating Rules\n \n Radius Rule: Strict 40-mile radius rule; no local candidates accepted.\n Floating & Assignments: May float to the general medical unit as needed. 22-bed neuro unit with patient ratios typically 1:4 (charge nurse carries a patient assignment).\n Weekend & Holiday: Every other weekend and every other holiday required.\n Dress Code: Solid navy blue scrubs.\n \n Requirements & Qualifications\n \n Experience: Minimum 2 years of strong Med Surg/Tele experience and at least 1 completed travel assignment required. Neuro experience required (patient population includes CVAs, elective back/neck surgeries, cerebral angiograms, and medical overflow).\n Licensure: Active, unrestricted Illinois (IL) RN license in hand at submission.\n Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.\n Skills & EMR: Recent EPIC charting experience required.
