What You Will Do: Design, develop, and test applications to simulate the behavior of avionics sensors to support the development and testing of Collins Avionics products. Aid the development team in the debugging of laboratory issues to determine root cause and propose potential solutions to the discovered problems. Effectively interacts and networks with teammates, management, and customers. Support the Program Lead(s) with budget and schedule data for the CSE work on a given program to help ensure the successful completion of a Collins Avionics program. Work with a team of dedicated engineers to help shape the future of the avionics simulation platform. 5-10% travel as needed. Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience. Experience with C/C++ programming languages. Experience with Python scripting. Experience with Agile Development Framework (Scrum, Sprints, etc.). Qualifications We Prefer: Strong written and oral communication skills. Experience with Graphical User Interface (GUI) design/implementation. Experience with C# programming language. Familiarity with migrating an application between OS and HW architectures. Earned Value Management experience. The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
