Director of Finance and Administration The Director of Finance and Administration will lead the financial operations and support the overall business administration of the Firm. This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for ensuring the Firm has accurate, timely financial information and effective financial systems to support sound decision-making, profitability, and sustainable growth. Responsibilities: Own all aspects of the company’s accounting and financial operations. Prepare and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. Oversee cash flow, general ledger, reconciliations, and close processes. Administer the company’s 401(k) plan, including coordination with vendors and compliance requirements. Partner with leadership to provide financial insights and reporting as needed. Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, tax, and audit requirements. Continuously improve accounting processes and controls. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5–6+ years of experience in a similar role. Prior law firm or professional services accounting experience. CPA or advanced accounting credentials (a plus, not required). Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting. Proven experience managing accounting staff. Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines. High level of accountability, reliability, and ownership.
