Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic utilities location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule Wednesday: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sunday: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a utilities location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site procedures, and report security‑related concerns through proper channels. Support daily site operations by documenting incidents, completing routine reports, and following post orders for unarmed patrol assignments in a professional manner. Minimum Requirements Possess 1+ years of security‑related experience. Be 21+ years of age. A guard card/license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
