The Warehouse Lead is a working lead whodemonstrates core leadership qualities and is flexible, has excellent communication skills and is able toadapt easily to change.Scope:Under the direction of the Logistics Manager, the Warehouse Operations Lead is responsible for the dailyoperations related to Material Management including shipping/receiving, material handling, materialinventory and cycle counts, forklift operation, customer service, document destruction and other tasksrelated to Logistics. The Warehouse Lead is responsible for providing an array of customer driven ondemand services within a secure government facility.Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities Include but are limited to:Position requires the flexibility and performance of a multitude of Integrated Logistics Support functionsrelated to Material Management, Transportation, Shipping/Receiving, Material Handling and WarehousingEfficient and safe handling of all incoming and outgoing materialCoordinates with site management/staff to implement plans and recommendationsPrepares plans, procedures, schedules, and develops tools for warehouse operationsPromptly and accurately maintains Government material within all designated warehouse storage areas toensure highest audit rating is sustainedEnsures Contract is in compliance with Federal, Contract and Corporate requirements and is prepared foraudits and customer reviewsPerforms physical inventories of Government material and prepare inventory and financial reportsCreates and maintains local work instructions and procedures in accordance with applicable directivesMonitors Material Management and Logistics processes and continuously drive process improvementsUnderstands customer requirements, provides technical guidance, direction and training to co-workers andsite personnel relating to Material Management mattersSupports movement of Government material by operating light duty vehicles and forkliftsSupports Special Project assignments from Management or Customer, as requiredPerforms other duties as directed by the Site Logistics Manager#IntelBasic Job RequirementsA combination of education and directly related experience equal to three (3) years; some locations mayhave additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirementsAbility to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management,coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitorsDemonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous process improvementJob related technical knowledge necessary to complete the jobAbility to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective mannerAbility to obtain and maintain forklift operator certificationReach with hands and arms, extending arms forward and above the headClimb ladders and stairs, and perform work at heightsLift and carry 35 pounds of materialOther Job RequirementsMust have active (or ability to obtain and maintain) TS/SCI with CI Polygraph clearanceU.S. citizenPhysical Demands: Performance of work may require sorting and movement of items up to 35 pounds andmay require extended walking and standing. Performs light to moderate lifting when moving material byhand or hand-truck. May be required to operate a variety of forklifts to move, load and unload material.Position requires the basic skills and physical ability necessary to perform assigned job functions. Employeeis required to stand, walk, sit, squat, stoop, bend, climb, lift and pull. Employee is required to use handsand fingers to finger, handle, feel and grip material and tools. Employee is required to reach with hands andarms, extending arms forward and above the head.Work Environment: Generally favorable indoor office workspace and/or limited exposure to adverseweather conditions.
