Radiology - Breast Imaging Specialist in Lafayette, LA
Full-Time Breast Radiology Opportunity in Lafayette, LA – No Weekends or Call

Join a leading facility in Lafayette, Louisiana, for a full-time breast imaging position offering a minimum several-month commitment. Duration: Several months minimum, potential extension
Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, no call, no weekends
Hours/Week: 40 hours/week
Employment Type: Full-time, temporary
Licensure/Certifications: Breast Imaging Fellowship required; current license and malpractice coverage needed for credentialing
Experience: Prior experience in breast imaging required

Pay & Benefits:

Pay: $1.00 per hour (pay package discussed upon application)

What You’ll Do:

Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms
Conduct breast ultrasounds and stereotactic biopsies
Assist with ultrasound-guided biopsies and breast MRI procedures and biopsies
Ensure high-quality patient care in outpatient breast imaging centers
Maintain accurate documentation and follow procedural protocols
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient management

What You Need:

Breast Imaging Fellowship required
Valid state medical license in Louisiana
Full professional liability insurance (COI) and LA PCF coverage
Clean background and no malpractice issues for credentialing
Strong skills in breast imaging procedures and diagnostics
Ability to commit to a several-month schedule, Monday to Friday

About the Assignment:
This position is at a modern outpatient facility specializing in comprehensive breast imaging services. Providers will perform a variety of screening and diagnostic procedures, primarily focusing on mammography, ultrasound, stereotactic, and MRI biopsies. The role ensures a focus on quality patient care with no call responsibilities, making it ideal for dedicated radiologists seeking a stable, full-time outpatient position.
