Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field preferred
• At least 3 years of experience in purchasing or buying, preferably within manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and material planning processes
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical specifications
• Proven skills in supplier management, sourcing, negotiation, and cost reduction
• Experience purchasing mechanical, electrical, and industrial components is desirable
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee purchasing programs with key suppliers and monitor their performance
• Implement strategies to identify and realize cost savings opportunities
• Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions
• Collaborate with engineering, finance, production, and leadership to source industry-relevant materials and maintain a pipeline of procurement opportunities
• Maintain accurate records for part maintenance, supplier invoices, and material requirements, supporting continuous improvement initiatives
