Job Description
Physical Therapist - Outpatient Orthopedics

Schedule

Monday - Friday, with the clinic open from 7am to 7pm. The typical schedule includes two late days from 10:30am to 7pm and two early days from 7am to 3pm.

Job Description

As a Physical Therapist, you will play a critical role in helping patients regain movement, reduce pain, and facilitate their return to activities they enjoy. Your caseload will primarily consist of post-operative orthopedic patients, including total joint replacements, neck and back pain, spine rehabilitation, manual therapy patients, sports injuries, and general musculoskeletal conditions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat orthopedic patients.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment outcomes.
• Deliver evidence-based one-on-one care.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques when appropriate.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress.
• Document care using electronic medical records (EMR).
• Collaborate with an experienced rehabilitation team.
• Participate in community outreach and wellness initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Maryland Physical Therapy license (or eligibility).
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
