Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level IV Trauma Center, requiring 1-2+ years of experience and BLS, PALS, NRP, and ACLS certifications.

Details

• Respiratory Therapy department at a 39-bed hospital
• Treats all age groups including geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients
• Common diagnoses include asthma, COPD, and premature infant care
• Uses ventilators, BiPAPs, Vapotherm, and infant nasal CPAP equipment
• Medhost EHR system
• Day shift schedule working 6 days on, 8 days off with 12-hour shifts
• Weekend hours included in weekly schedule, worked every other weekend
• No call requirements
• No floating requirements

Requirements

• NBRC RRT required
• 1-2+ years of experience required
• BLS, PALS, NRP, and ACLS certifications required
• License required if applicable
• Critical care and neonatal RT experience required
• Ability to work independently and learn quickly required
• Social security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory therapy services across all age groups in a Level IV Trauma Center
• Facility is a designated Stroke Receiving Facility and Chest Pain Accredited with a 5-star CMS rating
• Must be outgoing and friendly to fit the team culture
• Navy blue scrubs required;
  street clothes not acceptable
• Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be considered for the travel position
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
