Manager Investment Finance, Reporting

Purpose The Investment Finance team is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Manager to join our dynamic team. This individual will be responsible for preparing and assisting in the preparation of the investment quarterly/annual disclosures and reporting for Athene. This includes providing financial statement analysis, variance analysis, and financial results messaging to Athene's leadership. Accountabilities Responsible for investment reporting on a GAAP and Statutory basis. Prepare quarterly and annual 10Q/10K and MD&A investment disclosures. Assist with SEC reporting requirements and respond to Investor/Analyst questions. Support the financial analysis of operating results, balance sheets, and other key performance indicators. Maintain and update process documentation and support audit requests to ensure accuracy and compliance. Support new assumed reinsurance initiatives and reporting considerations for strategic transactions. Lead/Drive transformation within the Investment Finance area enhancing investment reporting capabilities. Builds and fosters close relationships with Apollo, Investment Accounting, Financial Reporting, and IT business areas. Develop and lead a team of professionals by setting expectations, mentoring and coaching, driving results, sharing strategic direction, collaborating and communicating effectively. Qualifications and Experience 5+ years directly relatable technical experience, 2+ years of direct or indirect team leadership experience, CPA, MBA, or CFA a plus. Proficiency in Excel. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, including strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of investment types and related reporting preferred. Knowledge of GAAP and Statutory financial accounting regulations a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
