Fermentation Production Microbiologist

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Operate and monitor microbial fermentation processes from lab scale through production Prepare media, cultures, and fermentation batches using aseptic technique Collect and analyze fermentation data to improve process performance and yields Perform microbial sampling, plating, contamination monitoring, and troubleshooting Support downstream processing and batch production activities Collaborate with Operations leadership on process optimization and continuous improvement projects Maintain accurate laboratory and production documentation Work cross‑functionally with production, quality, and operations teams in a collaborative environment

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biology, Biochemistry, Fermentation Science, Food Science, or related field Laboratory experience in microbiology, fermentation, or biological sciences Strong aseptic technique and attention to detail Comfortable working in both laboratory and production environments Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast‑paced environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Someone who enjoys hands‑on science and solving real‑world technical challenges

BONUS EXPERIENCE

Bioreactors or microbial cultivation Food, biotech, agriculture, or microbial manufacturing CFU analysis, plating, or contamination investigations
