Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to join a fast-paced, growing law firm. The ideal candidate will have strong experience supporting personal injury litigation from case inception through settlement or trial and be comfortable managing a high-volume caseload.

The successful candidate must be fully bilingual in English and Spanish , with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with clients, attorneys, insurance companies, medical providers, and other parties in both languages.

This position requires someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently while supporting multiple attorneys and managing competing deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support personal injury cases throughout the litigation process.
• Assist attorneys with case preparation from pre-litigation through trial.
• Draft, prepare, and organize pleadings, motions, discovery, notices, subpoenas, and other legal documents.
• Prepare and respond to discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admissions.
• Coordinate depositions, hearings, mediations, independent medical examinations, and trial preparation.
• Maintain accurate and organized electronic and physical case files.
• Communicate with clients regarding case status, appointments, documentation, and litigation-related matters.
• Communicate with opposing counsel, insurance carriers, medical providers, experts, and other third parties.
• Obtain and organize medical records, medical bills, employment records, and other case-related documentation.
• Assist with medical record and bill reviews.
• Prepare case chronologies, demand packages, discovery summaries, and other litigation materials.
• Track important case deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and filing requirements.
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including exhibits, witness information, trial binders, and other materials.
• E-file documents with state and federal courts as required.
• Maintain calendars and monitor deadlines, court dates, and statutes of limitation.
• Conduct basic legal research as needed.
• Assist with settlement documentation and case closing procedures.
• Provide professional communication and support to Spanish-speaking clients throughout the litigation process.

Qualifications

• ** Bachelor's degree OR Paralegal Certificate. **
• ** Fully bilingual in English and Spanish — verbal and written. **
• Previous experience as a Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal .
• Strong knowledge of the personal injury litigation process.
• Experience with discovery, pleadings, subpoenas, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation.
• Strong understanding of case management and litigation deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and prioritize multiple deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook.
• Experience with legal case management software preferred.

Preferred Experience

• 3+ years of personal injury litigation paralegal experience.
• Experience working directly with personal injury attorneys.
• Experience handling cases from filing through settlement/trial.
• Experience communicating with Spanish-speaking clients.
• Experience preparing discovery and litigation documents.
• Experience with state and federal court e-filing systems.
