A DAY IN THE LIFE AS AN AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE TECHNICIAN As an Automotive Service Technician at Coughlin, you are the lifeblood of our company’s relationship with our customers, maintaining and repairing their vehicles for years after the sale. You correctly diagnose mechanical problems, clearly explain options, and make the agreed‑upon repairs. You also provide regular maintenance services that keep vehicles in top condition. You provide legendary customer service and make customers feel valued. You’ll have the opportunity to earn additional certifications while working on a variety of makes.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Automobile repair experience Knowledge of methods, materials, and tools used in vehicle repair and maintenance Certifications are preferred; dealership experience is a plus. Service‑oriented attitude, attention to detail, and ability to explain technical information in layman’s terms are important.

WORK SCHEDULE

The work schedule is flexible, typically around 40 hours per week, but there is no cap on hours turned for flat‑rate technicians. Service departments are closed on Sundays and only open until 6 pm during the week. #J-18808-Ljbffr Coughlincars
