Salary: $150,000–$170,000

Responsibilities of the Assistant Controller:
- Supervise financial transactions and accounting operations across designated areas
- Prepare monthly and annual reconciliations and financial reports in compliance with GAAP and company policies
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, fixed assets, and financial data
- Implement and monitor internal accounting controls and audit documentation
- Prepare journal entries and ensure proper account reconciliations
- Assist in generating specialized financial reports and analyses
- Oversee payroll tax compliance, filings, and reporting
- Support internal and external audit requests and provide necessary documentation
- Participate in special projects, team development, and training initiatives
- Assist with accounts payable processes and proper transaction coding
- Provide technical accounting guidance to cross-functional teams
- Support development and enhancement of accounting policies and procedures
Qualifications for the Assistant Controller:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA preferred
- 5+ years of supervisory experience
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar multi-entity accounting systems
