Experience may include electrical work in construction, residential, commercial, industrial, or manufacturing environments.Journeyman's card preferredBasic computer proficiencyIntermediate knowledge of schematic interpretation, panel building, machine wiring, and electrical troubleshootingDemonstrated mechanical aptitude with a strong focus on safety and qualityAbility to accept direction and complete assigned tasks while working independently and as part of a teamAbility to maintain a steady work pace while bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and working on, around, and beneath machineryAbility to lift up to 50 pounds as requiredAbility to obtain Hi-Lo (Forklift), Aerial Platform, and Overhead Crane certifications, as well as Lockout/Tagout training, while employed at JR AutomationAbility to provide personal hand tools and a toolbox appropriate for the position (a recommended tool list will be provided)Previous JR Automation experience or experience within the automation industry is strongly preferredAbility to travel up to 20% of the time, including domestic and international travel, depending on project requirementsDisclaimer: JR Automation requires candidates to successfully complete a 10-panel drug screen, physical examination, and background check.Company OverviewAt JR Automation, a Hitachi Group Company , we discover potential, reimagine limits, and advance industry.
