ED Tech - PRN - Nights - Sacred Heart Hospital, Lavonia, GA Employment Type: Part time Shift: 12 Hour Night Shift Description: Carries out routine patient care duties and related activities under the direct supervision of an RN. Responsibilities Assess direct and indirect patient needs within scope of practice. Plan and prioritize patient safety needs and implement appropriate safety activities. Evaluate effectiveness of patient safety activities and communicate findings. Maintain confidentiality and provide polite, understanding care to patients and hospital personnel. Respond quickly to patient safety needs and react to changes in conditions. Work effectively in stressful situations and maintain a professional appearance. Demonstrate a high degree of initiative and sound decision‑making ability. Qualifications High School Diploma required. Medical terminology and behavioral health experience preferred. No prior experience required; formal specialty training preferred. BLS certification through American Heart Association required at time of hire. Benefits Day 1 benefits with no waiting period.
