Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience worked in the last 3 years.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 2 years of neuro Med-Surg/Telemetry experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Special Requests: You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Unit Details: Fast-paced neuro specialty inpatient unit caring for adult and geriatric medical and surgical neuro patients. Patient population may include multiple sclerosis, ALS, Guillain-Barre syndrome, stroke, epilepsy, trauma or orthopedic patients with multiple injuries/diagnoses, and spinal fractures requiring orthotics. Post-surgical cases may include spine surgeries, brain tumors, craniotomy, and ophthalmology cases. Collaborative multidisciplinary team with nurses, nursing assistants, therapists, coordinated care, advanced practice providers, and medical teams.

Shift & Scheduling: Monday - Friday. Weekend rotation. Holidays as needed.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
