Salary Range: $45.00 $71.00 per hour (Union position; compensation determined based on years of experience; non-negotiable)


Certification Requirements: Basic Life Support (BLS)


Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Emergency Department team. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care within the scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, procedures, and health maintenance.
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, demonstrating critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Prioritize patient needs and adapt swiftly to changing clinical conditions and unit demands.
• Maintain a professional, compassionate approach in all patient interactions.

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in Oregon.
• BLS certification is required; additional certifications such as ACLS are preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in effective communication, documentation, and critical thinking.
• Ability to work flexibly, prioritize tasks, and respond efficiently to emergent situations.
• Computer literacy, including proficiency with electronic medical records and internet research.
• Proven commitment to punctuality, reliability, and teamwork.
