The candidate must have experience with common surgical procedures. The unit operates with an average of 15 suites and handles 55-70 cases per day. Availability for 1-2 second calls each month is required. The weekend requirement includes rotating weekends with an 8-hour shift and 24-hour on-call responsibilities. The candidate will be expected to float between areas as needed. The charting system used is Allscripts. This position is primarily in a preoperative area and is not a free-standing surgical center. Candidates should be aware of the call response time of 30 minutes. The dress code will be provided by the facility. The role necessitates a commitment to providing high-quality surgical care.
