Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist II to support our client's healthcare facility in Stockbridge, GA. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9a-6p. Location: Stockbridge, GA. Job Type: local contract. Contract Length: 15 Week/s + Extension. Pay Range: $21.70/Hour - $23.25/Hour *Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Perform venipuncture and other specimen collections using straight and butterfly needles. Collect, label, process, centrifuge, split, freeze, and package specimens according to established procedures. Verify patient information, physician orders, requisitions, and specimen labels for accuracy. Explain blood draw and specimen collection procedures clearly and courteously to patients. Maintain specimen integrity by following proper storage, temperature, transportation, and handling protocols. Perform equipment maintenance, decontamination, recordkeeping, and patient information updates. Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and complete required annual department training. Answer telephone inquiries and provide laboratory results as appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Work Experience: 1-3 years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections. 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred. Customer service in a retail or service environment highly preferred. Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Must have Pediatric Experience!
