A hospital-based pharmacist position is available in Canal Winchester, OH, offering a unique opportunity to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care in a supportive hospital environment. This contract role features a distinctive 7-days on/7-days off schedule, with shifts from Thursday night to Thursday morning, including sole pharmacist coverage overnight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately review, interpret, and dispense medication orders and prescriptions.
• Monitor patient medication therapy for therapeutic effectiveness and safety.
• Maintain departmental policies, quality programs, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide drug information and counseling to patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Participate in emergency drug therapy management and medication preparation.
• Coordinate pharmacy technician activities to optimize patient care and operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Bachelor of Science or Pharm.D. degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
