Market MRI Technologist

Schedule: 7:00 am–5:30 pm or 8:30 am–7:00 pm (Weekdays, rotating, day shift) – Full‑time. Category: Radiology. Department: MRI. Job Summary The MR Technologist I assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing patients and safely operating MR equipment to obtain diagnostic scans. Responsibilities Operate MR equipment and ensure safe, high‑quality imaging procedures. Prepare patients for scans, including positioning and safety checks. Maintain equipment and perform routine quality assurance. Collaborate with physicians and technologists to achieve optimal imaging outcomes. Document scan parameters and patient information accurately. Adhere to safety protocols and the principle of "First Do No Harm." Qualifications Education: 2‑year associate degree preferred; graduation from an ARRT‑approved Radiography or MR program required. Experience: Minimum of one year of MR experience preferred. Certification: NH Medical Center‑Certified and registered by ARRT in MR – RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR) within 6 months of hire (required). NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility – Certified and registered within 6 months of hire in ARRT RT(R)(MR) (required). Hospital Outpatient Department – Certified and registered by ARRT in MR – RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR) (required). IV Credentialed (required). Applicable state license (required). Life‑support training per Life Support Training Policy NH‑HR‑3096 (required). Skills: Thorough knowledge of MRI imaging equipment; analytical ability; basic computer skills; strong communication; ability to tailor patient care to individual needs (age‑specific).
