Adjunct Instructor of Business

The Adjunct Instructor of Business is responsible for the development and instruction of course materials relating to Business academic disciplines. Adjuncts will receive working titles relative to their particular academic discipline.

Job Responsibilities

  • 60% - Development of course materials in the Business academic disciplines which entails but is not limited to; timely submission of course syllabus' and supporting course materials to Division. Instruction of course materials in the Business academic disciplines, which entails but is not limited to; timely communication of all grades to students and the Division, timely submission of Student Learning Outcomes to the Division, evaluation of student performance in didactic courses, and participation in development of remediation plans with students for improvement and/or growth of the student.
  • 35% - Office hours
  • 5% - Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a related field of study from a regionally accredited academic institution OR Master's degree in unrelated field plus 18 credit hours in related Business field from a regionally accredited academic institution

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in a related field of study from a regionally accredited academic institution
  • 2 years of teaching experience both in-person and on-line

Physical Demands Position requires this activity up to 33% of the time (0-2.5 hours per day)

Compensation will be determined in compliance with LSUE Policy Statement Number 46.
