The Work Our Sensor Architects organization is seeking an expert in precision timing synchronization to support advanced capability development for distributed systems. In this role, you will:

• Investigate, design, and implement innovative timing and networking capabilities to achieve system-of-systems performance requirements and missions.
• Identify technology insertion opportunities in support of capability roadmaps, identify and mitigate performance and execution risks.
• Facilitate team development, building technical depth and expertise in timing and networking.
• Support the planning and execution of development and integration activities; working with systems, software, and hardware teams to coordinate designs and schedules.
• Lead design reviews, system demos, flight tests, element and system level verification activities, and system certification.
• Execute integration and test activities, evaluate test results, investigate discrepancies, technically assess anomalies, and drive them to resolution.
• Represent the organization on contracts and interface with internal and external customers, program and senior leadership, and multi-disciplinary teams on significant technical matters.

Desired skills:

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics or equivalent.
• Experience with technical or functional leadership of diverse teams of engineers.
• Sub-picosecond timing synchronization system design
• FPGA Design/implementation and Digital Signal Processing experience
• Experience developing proposals for government customers
• Experience managing program budget and schedule constraints, including control account management.
• Active DoD Secret level clearance or higher

The base range for this position in New Jersey is $110,500 - $208,344. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. The wage range and benefits summary is a general guideline and is governed by the applicable collective bargaining agreement when extending an offer.
