Mechanical Engineer

MDP Engineering is looking to hire an entry-level Mechanical Engineer with experience in commercial design projects, including hospitality and multi-family residential experience.

Specific job duties include:  

\n
• Participation in the planning, development, and preparation of construction documents.
\n
• Interfacing with clients regularly.
\n
• Perform a variety of office and/or field functions related to potentially complex engineering problems
\n
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects, and meet deadlines.
\n
• Ability to work independently.
\n
• Must be proficient in the application of building codes.
\n

Qualified candidate will possess the following:

\n
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
\n
• Knowledge of building, energy, and electrical codes.
\n
• Experience with LEED Certified projects.
\n
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Visual, and some REVIT experience.
\n
• Ability to contribute to several projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
\n
• Ability to work independently and prioritize workload and projects.
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
\n
