BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking Caregivers / Direct Support Professionals to join the team in and around Altoona, PA. BAYADA’s special needs caregivers - Direct Support Professionals DSPs - work one-on-one in home and community settings as a companion and mentor for individuals with intellectual or developmental disability to help them reach their full potential. Position Highlights: Part-time roles with the possibility of additional hours M-F 9am-3pm Competitive pay starting at $17+/hour, depending on experience How You’ll Make an Impact as a Caregiver / Direct Support Professional (DSP): Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming, basic hygiene) Accompany clients on errands and appointments Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation Participate in community integration activities Benefits You’ll Love: Education & Development: Scholarship and development opportunities, and on-the-job training!
