Looking for a flexible opportunity where you can put your physical therapy skills to work while maintaining control of your schedule?
OakMed Home Nursing & Rehabilitation is growing our network of Physical Therapist Assistants throughout West Michigan! We are looking to connect with licensed PTAs interested in providing one-on-one, home-based care to automobile accident and workers’ compensation patients.
Whether you’re currently working in a clinic, looking to supplement your income, or interested in building a flexible home-based caseload, we’d love to hear from you.
Why Work With OakMed?$60 per visit Weekly pay Flexible scheduling based on your availability Opportunities to work with patients closer to home when cases are available One-on-one, home-based patient care Automobile accident and workers’ compensation patients Opportunities to supplement your current income or build a caseload around your schedule Position Responsibilities Provide physical therapy interventions under the direction and supervision of the supervising Physical Therapist, as required. Carry out assigned treatment activities consistent with the established plan of care. Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist. Document visits and patient progress accurately and in a timely manner. Communicate professionally with patients, families, and members of the healthcare team. Follow applicable professional standards, supervision requirements, and organizational policies. Qualifications Current, unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant license in the State of Michigan. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Reliable transportation and ability to travel to assigned patient homes. Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently within the PTA scope of practice and applicable supervision requirements. A Flexible Opportunity That Fits Your Life OakMed understands that flexibility matters.
