NFI IT Director

Salary: $175,000 - 195,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree.
• We require at least 5 years of IT experience.
• Project management experience of 5 years is preferred.
• Leadership experience of 3 years is preferred.
• We require relocation to Quincy, IL 62301 before starting work.

• We lead the day-to-day operations, planning, and management of our Information Technology department.
• We shape and maintain our technology roadmap in alignment with business goals.
• We partner with executive leaders and department heads to uncover opportunities to improve operations through technology.
• We assess emerging technologies such as AI, automation, analytics, and digital commerce tools.
• We recommend technology investments that strengthen efficiency, service, and profitability.
• We oversee infrastructure, networks, telecommunications, cloud services, servers, and end-user computing.
• We ensure systems deliver the expected levels of performance, reliability, security, and availability.
• We maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• We direct help desk operations and support timely issue resolution.
• We continually improve IT service delivery and support processes.
• We lead our cybersecurity program and promote a security-first culture.
• We maintain security policies, standards, and best practices.
• We ensure compliance with PCI-DSS and other applicable security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
• We oversee vulnerability management, access controls, endpoint protection, monitoring, incident response, and security awareness training.
• We coordinate response and recovery during cybersecurity or technology incidents.
• We oversee the implementation, integration, support, and optimization of enterprise software applications.
• We ensure technology solutions support retail operations, distribution, merchandising, finance, human resources, marketing, eCommerce, and customer-facing functions.
• We look for ways to improve system integration and reduce technical debt.
• We work with business leaders to improve processes through technology.
• We manage our IT project portfolio and prioritize initiatives based on business needs and available resources.
• We ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• We coordinate project planning, implementation, testing, communication, and change management.
• We communicate project status, priorities, and risks to executive leadership.
• We help develop and manage annual IT operating and capital budgets.
• We negotiate and manage vendor relationships, technology contracts, software licensing agreements, and service providers.
• We monitor vendor performance and service level agreements.
• We identify opportunities to improve service while controlling technology costs responsibly.
• We lead, coach, mentor, and develop members of our IT team.
• We establish performance expectations and encourage accountability.
• We foster a collaborative, customer-focused culture centered on continuous improvement.
• We support succession planning and cross-training to strengthen organizational knowledge.
• We build strong working relationships across all departments.
• We stay closely involved in critical technology initiatives, vendor meetings, infrastructure planning, cybersecurity work, and operational issue resolution.
• We balance long-term planning with daily operational demands.
• We provide technical leadership during system upgrades, implementations, and emergencies.
