Java Developer (Remote)

An established financial services organization is seeking a Java Developer to support remote application development, modernization, and CI/CD initiatives. This role focuses on building and enhancing Java/Spring applications, reusable components, and automated build and deployment processes.
About the Opportunity:- Shift: Day shift
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: Standard business
- Setting: Remote
- Design, develop, enhance, and support Java/Spring applications
- Build web applications and reusable application components
- Participate in application redesign and performance improvement efforts
- Support automated builds, deployments, and CI/CD pipeline migrations
- Troubleshoot and resolve application and deployment issues while collaborating with development, QA, and engineering teams
- Strong Java development experience
- Experience with Spring or the Spring Framework
- Experience with Maven and Jenkins
- Experience supporting automated builds and deployments
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience with SQL, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, Hibernate, or JMS
- Experience with GitLab and Jira
- Experience in highly regulated financial services environments
