Contract | Rotating Shift | Expected 36 hours/week | Rotational Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for obstetrical patients across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods
• Provide nursing care for newborns utilizing the nursing process
• Support Labor & Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum units
• Participate in rotational call as required
• Function as a self-motivated professional resource person within the unit

Required Qualifications

• Active Montana RN License
• ACLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Reliable personal transportation required — this is a remote area location
• Montana residents must reside at least 250 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in LDRP or combined Labor & Delivery/Postpartum settings
• Comfort working in a rural or remote healthcare environment
• Experience with newborn care and postpartum patient education
