Position Overview: As a Host at Centro Woodfired Pizzeria, you’ll be an integral part of ensuring that our guests have a warm, welcoming, and unforgettable experience from the moment they walk in. Your enthusiasm, passion for customer service, and attention to detail will set the stage for a memorable visit to our pizzeria. Key Responsibilities: Greet and welcome guests with a warm and inviting demeanor as they arrive at the pizzeria. Guide guests to their tables and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. Maintain an organized seating plan, optimizing table turnover and enhancing the dining experience. Manage reservations and oversee the waiting list, providing accurate wait time estimates. Work closely with the restaurant staff to ensure a smooth and efficient seating process. Answer phone calls, address guest inquiries, and assist with reservations in a professional and friendly manner. Keep the reception area and waiting area clean, well-organized, and aesthetically pleasing. Showcase in-depth knowledge of our woodfired pizza menu, including specials and recommendations. Collaborate with team members to ensure any guest concerns are resolved promptly and professionally. Participate in creating an inviting atmosphere in the pizzeria, enhancing the overall dining experience. Qualifications: A passion for delivering exceptional customer service with a friendly and welcoming attitude. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to remain composed under pressure and handle challenging situations with grace. Familiarity with reservation management systems is a plus. Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within the restaurant industry. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. High school diploma or equivalent.
